Pre-Christmas gifts from family! In “How to Kill a Witch”, Zoe and Claire from the popular podcast “ The Witches of Scotland”, unravel the process of identifying, accusing, trying, and executing women accused of being witches. The new book I’m working on will address women’s issues in the 1800s.

A Christmas tradition in Dundee, Scotland, home of my ancestors, was giving a gift of a herring wearing a dress! The fancier the frock the better, with many wearing crinolines or dressed as brides. Then the herring was hung above the front door for one year. This one is wearing a knitted fish suit.

I received a signed copy of this book by Dan Aykroyd’s dad Peter. Ghostbusters was based on this true story of their family. They conducted seances in the parlor of their farm. Mediums in the family, ghosts, and many paranormal events. This well written book is a wealth of info on Spiritualism.
