Well high school me just cried happy tears 🥲

So when the time happened. And he showed up and tried it….he asked me what was used in it and then went through and told me how it could be improved. His first response was to critique it.
No thank you, and not even after he was done did he really say thank you.

I bought ingredients I knew I would never use again. Took the time to find a good recipe and took the time make everything exactly as it was supposed to. I spent some money on this, a dish I wasn’t even planning to eat.

This bugs me still so I’m sharing this story:

Before my partner got serious there was another person i was seeing. I offered to make their favorite dish, and it was something I had never made before. But i really wanted to try it for them.
