1) I love the decompressed storytelling that Mitsuru Adachi does, where the story is about *how* the characters don’t say anything. But it’s a lot easier to take a few pages to let things breathe when your unit-of-publication is 30 pages rather than one.

I was re-reading Mitsuru Adachi’s “Rough”.
In the background, he’d advertise his other manga and Shōnen Sunday, the magazine that this ran in.
That poster isn’t based on an actual cover but that panda is almost certainly Genma Saotome from Ranma 1/2 which ran in the same magazine.
