Honestly, I’m starting to think it’s less Musk and way more Pete Marocco (who has delegated authority over USAID currently). Dude REALLY hates USAID after they kicked him out over a 13-page dissent memo and also aligned with Orban and Serbia far-right parties.

Sad to report probationary employees at USAID were terminated late in the afternoon. Approx. 500, and after they received reduction in force notices and were on paid admin leave.
