I really like Gundam 00 as unlike a lot of the previous series it actually divides the Gundams into various tactical doctrines. Air superiority, sniping, close quarters combat, and artillery.

That said nothing beats Amuro v Char, they hate each other enough to get out of mechs and sword fight.

Does the bigass boring desert get more interesting as the game goes on?

So far I'm okay with the regular metroid parts of the game but putting the dungeons at each of the corners so you have to drive through the whole desert every time was a dick move by the devs.

It won't matter. Stocks are completely based on hype and untethered from reality. Musk will somehow get even richer if that happens.

Its pretty fun, but I think Dread is a much better metroid game in general. So far the boss fights all seem to drag on a bit too long, the side character is kind of annoying, and the bike really only serves to help you move through the big desert.

I was replaying Metroid Dread until I got to the stupid purple robot that always knows where you are. I remember that being the most annoying section from my last playthrough too.

Teenaged me definitely clicked "I am over 18" a lot of times before I was 18.

Even when these ideas aren't stupidly obvious, kids will find a way around them. All these systems do is create sneakier kids, which is a worthwhile result.
