An important step early on is understanding the problem. Climate change demands urgent action, its impacts are already here, and progress on it to date has been woefully inadequate – yet👏we👏are👏not👏checkmated. How can all of these things be true at the same time?

Interestingly, this strongly resembles last year’s result. This is worth keeping in mind if anyone tries to tell you climate change hasn’t been or won’t be seen as a priority.

Every year, the World Economic Forum asks hundreds of experts from academia, govt, etc what they're worried about, ranking the results.
Misinformation and disinformation top the latest list of two-year risks, followed by extreme weather. Climate and the environment dominate the ten-year list...
