I saw a little mini documentary about it on Youtube from this guy LMC. It gave a one-sided but decent recap of what's going on and a little history about it. I have seen other news reports like yours from elsewhere in the country and the UK too.

The big question really is what are your other limiting factors and are you accurately able to measure and control them, imo. Bugbe, Rosenthal et al have both said it’s one of the cheapest and easiest gains you can make to improve yield. But it’s all meaningless spend if you have no data imo.

You would notice a difference in yields if you have sufficient lighting to increase the PPFD by ~20% past the usual, which would drive photosynthesis harder for the same amount of time, assuming you didn’t have other limiting factors. Enough scientists have published it at this point to prove it imo

Bad air exchange is what I’m using 🤣 it’s a basement grow without sufficient exhaust/outside air exchange. Working on fixing that but it’s a next year thing. Dealing with setting up autodosers, ph control, and irrigation right now before my second grow begins in a month or so.
