Artist, researcher, professor. My
research explores political economy,
material culture and performance, while my
artistic practice investigates the
interstices between immaterial forms and
material knowledge.
And more to follow on my artistic research bound with austerity measures, liberalism and economic models in, e.g. MMT heterodox alternatives. Excited! #heterdoxeconomies

Clara Mattei's latest book, The Capital Order, is an in-depth analysis of the intertwining of fascism and 'pure economics' in a way that for today has been taken as an unquestionable, 'rational' truth. Mattei's brilliant heterodox thinking reveals the classisist & racist origins of these truths.

I had some time to visit the BALTIC exhibitions and was so excited to see the wonderful photographic work on Marxist Feminism by the late Frankie Raffles. Don't miss it if you are in the Newcastle area.

It was a pleasure to attend the Have Some Imagination conference at the BalticXNorthhumbria Uni at Newcastle. I presented my paper on heterodox economics and austerity on the Neoliberal Academy panel with Campbell Edinborough, Amelia Jones & Benjamin Nicholson. tinyurl.com/bdzevct6

A good way to start my own visibility on this platform. Indeed, these books, especially those by Mattei, Cooper and Brown on austerity and the erosion of democracy, open up in a significant way the situation we now find ourselves in in a neoliberal and financialised global world.
