I have a hard time understanding the point of Orion. I tried it, and it had a nice hierarchical tab system, but other than that, it was slower than both Firefox and Chrome, and offered worse plugin compatibility. WebKit has lagged behind the other major browser engines in speed and features.

DDG is just recycled Bing results, and it's quite slow compared to Kagi. Kagi also supports bangs, so you won't miss out on that.

Keep in mind that this system has somewhat frequent false-positives. I keep it off because I don't want to miss anything legitimate I was looking for.

A little nitpick, but it looks like the framework version is missing `type="number"`. Aside from that, it's an interesting observation. I always viewed DOM state as seed state that's created by the server, even back to the jQuery days. I think that mentality is only lost when you do pure CSR.
