12 closed in Naches at 10 pm. Two hotspots, across from the old fish hatchery and just as the highway splits to 4 lanes, both in eastbound lanes.

The Yakima river begins above 90 near Cle Elum and then travels to the Columbia in the tri-cities. Both Naches & Tieton feed into it, Yakima. The CFS of both is incredible. At least 2 bridges damaged and sections of US12 eroded. When snow closes the passes, US12 is the backup plan.

Sadly, most news is focused on western washington. The passes across the cascades being closed is an economic disaster.

This weather event is much more than western washington. The road damage impacting all of the cascade passes will degrade supply, and food, delivery. The stock is good now. White is the only pass that is open to move milk trucks is a single lane with a pilot car.

When theatres moved to online ticket purchase only, my interest waned. The creepiness of Fandango auto-charging my card for various items because I checked the wrong box really turned me off. No interest in app ticket purchase. I miss the spontaneity of walking up to the box office to buy a ticket.
