As a distraction for this crazy week, I will share the first time I attempted a bargello quilt. I confidently decided to make a queen-size wedding present. 🤣. Yes, it is a hot mess, but the recipients seemed genuinely happy. #quiltsky

My favorite thing to do with the old kaleidoscope quilt block: make it into a medallion. (I have made a few and each one comes out quite different, but you have to follow your color chart really carefully.).

I absolutely love this! I made a much simpler one a couple of years ago with rainbow colors alternating with black and white.

The rainbow of elephants is almost ready for the quilter. (You can't see the borders, which are made from two of the brightest fabrics in the collection.)
