I remember the Beautiful Day promo single arriving at our studio/offices and listening to it on repeat the rest of the day, such a joyous song that still makes me smile today.

We put a lot of effort into getting to the front for my friend Robin’s birthday — the crew gave her Guy’s set list at the end of the show.

Thanks for sharing this! My father is a Vietnam veteran and he has volunteered for a shift of Sunday supporting the event. His being able to lend support to other veterans has helped his post-war healing.

I hope I replied!! I grabbed the CDs this morning and luckily the files appear to be dated, 31 episodes between 8/05 and 7/07.

A little overwhelming to think that first episode is just 2 months shy of its 20th anniversary.

Fun! Did I respond to your email about the podcast? I don’t remember seeing it at all. I *think* I have the raw files on CDs still. If those would provide any BTS help I can Dropbox them to you.

Wait, what? I had no idea you are writing about @U2. A walk down memory lane and a little retroactive FOMO has me intrigued.

I went to elementary school in the Seattle area 40 years ago and cake walk’s were always part of school fundraising events. The phrase still brings a smile to my face just thinking about all those home made cakes and sweet treats.

And you do realize there are tons of people whom exercise and sensible eating doesn’t work for when trying to lose weight? Some people have medical issues that need the extra push the GLP-1 drugs provide.

I’ve been visiting British Columbia all my life and it breaks my heart to see the current administration treating our neighbors to the north with zero respect. We MUST fix this at the midterms, or hopefully sooner if there is a way.

Seattle here — we definitely notice the decline in Canadian visitors. We’re trying to do right by visiting Victoria/Vancouver for vacations this year — our own way of giving Trump the middle finger while respecting your sovereignty.

Thank you - found the pattern on Etsy. I’m really enjoying teaching myself, it’s forcing my brain to slow down and provides some calmness at the end of busy days. I tired knitting too but all the counting just made me anxious. Sending good vibes as you continue to learn the craft.

Stunning. No matter how much I practice embroidery I’ll never be *this* good — true works of art.
