Ha ha touche. I was referring to libraries a la buildings full of books in my op, but it's highly likely in 5 years I might be talking to a virtual "Mads" just as companies may well be talking to a virtual business consultant. GenAI is already steam rollering lots of roles and it's been 2 years.

Sure but I think you might agree as an information specialist that we are prob entering a long term technical upheaval across industries unlike anything in the 70/80's. I can't see how libraries escape the implications esp as the upheaval will upend knowledge and creative industries. But we'll see.

Hi Mads - I doubt local libraries as we see them now ( mine is crammed full of paper books / newspapers for daily reading ... ) will exist in 20-50 years. In a couple of generations, yes knowledge will be ubiquitous imho and almost certainly accessed digitally with systems built on ML

From a marketing perspective, I always thought marketing has morphed into engineering .... pebbles are so much easier to count.

Errors in big corps are groupthink usually ( bad strategy - tactics ) Individual errors I think are rare plus the mantra is ".. underperform by all means but DON'T make a mistake"

You missed a bunch of knowledge industries, consultants, strategic marketers, market researchers - info providers are gonna need to go behind paywalls. Strategic due diligence ( startups, PE, VC ) is potentially dead.
