Showed the wonderful "9.5mm" compilation film made by Inédits for the 100th anniversary of the format today. It's such a well-curated overview of amateur films from six continents that survive in archives.

Best Canadian films of 2024?
The one that has stayed with me the most is "Universal Language" (Matthew Rankin). So wry, surprising, funny.
I definitely didn't see enough Canadian films in 2024 to compile a Top Ten list (I just didn't take that many flights on Air Canada ;-)
