My take for the "accommodations have gone too far" crowd, speaking as a school psychologist, is that they have no idea how much work the high school team does to prep the kid to even have a chance to get college accommodations, and it's still not a guarantee

I'm glad I'm able to ignore the parts of Hallmark Christmas movies that are like "interior designer wins competition with an objectively terrible design that everyone says is good" or "recording artist says a major problem is the song isn't in her key like she doesn't know what transposing is"

Just saw an ad for Columbia outerwear that had to have been from an AI generated concept because it was so awful my husband and I just sat in shock for a full 30 seconds after. It was not pleasant to see and it did not inspire us to buy Columbia outerwear. Who approved that?

I try really hard not to repeat some generational habits, but after telling my kids 10 times in the same hour to clean a room that they promised they finished cleaning, "throw everything still on the floor into a trash bag" doesn't feel so mean

16 month old has been indulging in three bedtimes. One at her regularly designated bedtime, and then she just never falls asleep so that she can participate in the 7 & 4 yos' bedtime. And then her bedtime routine all over again
