Why is it that the highest court takes more than a year to question policy that any fool could immediately recognize as disastrous.

I used to wonder if it was more of apathy, greed or malice. State officials know where the flood zones are, they know the demographic that lives there. They know they’re lying about climate science. When the only action is thoughts and prayers it’s obvious that people are not the priority.
