I'm reading this book. It was written in 1992, but takes place in 2054.
Something goes wrong in 2054 (it's about time travel) and they're having a hard time getting people on the phone, and I'm just like... my phone tech now is better than the future in this book and I'm feeling weird about it.

Finished! Except for binding, but it's protest ready. I wish the quilting on the boot showed up. It's for dollar signs and pretty accurate boot pieces, if I do say so myself. I'm not a good drawer. I freehand cut all the pieces, so that was fun. Anyway, if it rains it'll hold up better than a sign!

Why did I never consider the possibilities of raw edge applique before!?
Whipped this up for the protest tomorrow. Quilting, then hopefully I'll be able to figure out my embroidery machine enough to write "They are treading on all of us."

Finished Kona Color of the Year quilt for my mqg challenge. This year I challenged myself to make something that reflected feelings or an emotion. I chose anger. I've been very angry lately. So this is what popped in my head. Wish me luck on Tuesday when I show it to my guild.

I graffiti quilted this little wall hanging at work yesterday, and today I sewed a jelly roll race in 45 minutes for a video (and practice for an event). I do enjoy my job.
