All in on Kanika! It’s been amazing to watch her go from singing Lake Murray dock shows to touring the world.

I would buy used CD's by bands I had heard of but didn't know much about. I probably bought "Reckoning" first because there was a picture of the band on the back. Thought they were an acoustic band for a while and that the sound of bobby's voice was coming from the other guitarist with the big beard

This is an anecdote, but someone close to me went through cancer treatment in the EU last year. I asked her what her total out-of-pocket cost was and she said $100 for a massage that wasn't covered. We should absolutely expect more for what we pay in this country.

Also, how an artist wants to do that is their choice. "mic and a platform" doesn't literally have to be through the mic on the stage at a phish show. Many other artists have been able to speak about the moment outside of a time when people are trying to escape/connect.

There's a saying "where words fail, music speaks" or something and I think Trey's turned that into a shield. Right now, yes, music is essential to community. But if you've got a mic and a platform like he does, you gotta use your words to be crystal clear about this moment.

I liked this band too! He should have them back at his place for some more island jamming.

Agree about Wolf Bros - felt like guys who understood the assignment to amplify Bob's world. We were lucky enough to see them with the Atlanta Symphony in 2023. Incredible.

Thanks for the follow up ✌️I initially was drawn to D&C because I wanted to see Billy, Bobby, and Mickey before I couldn't anymore, so I get that.

Attended D&C with two old heads. Both loved it. Both cried.

You're talking about a guy who toured with surviving members of the Grateful Dead for a decade.
I completely disagree that it matters who plays Grateful Dead music, how they play it, and for whom.
