Never really thought much into it but I think looking back at characters I really like I kinda see that there’s a clear pattern here in certain parts of the designs (although Seiun Sky is a bit of an outlier in the color but point still stands)

Kill la Kill IF runs funny on Switch 2
Game chugs on original Switch, can get to 60fps but it usually stays lower
One would expect the Switch 2 to bruteforce the game to run at full speed
It does, but seems like it also speeds up game logic to be 1.2x faster in general

Tbf it’s more about 2D Classic Sonic than Arzest specifically, it’s just that they seem to me, the most likely choice, and I’d personally like to see them take another shot (but with a project born in the Post-Frontiers era)
Kinda curious what Arzest is up to right now
Its been 2 years since Superstars, I don’t necessarily think they started work on something right away, but I’d be surprised if they aren’t doing anything, specially Sonic related
