Also, why would I want an idea that started from an algorithm that's blind and deaf to its inputs? Art is an attempt at expressing something from within the artist, based on the artist's experiences, feelings and thoughts. Generative AI lacks this ability as it has none of these things.

"People think that AI output is bad and do not want to see it. OK, we'll just say that AI output is only a foundation, and that a human has to develop these ideas."

Unaware that the mere mention of AI is enough to turn people away from their work. (And this is even assuming that's true.)

Don't fall for it! Approach your story with earnestness, even if it feels like you're exposing too much.

A good writer, and especially a good smut writer, needs to be an exhibitionist. They need to be able to bare themselves before an audience if they want to elicit a good reaction from the crowd.

Writers often turn to self-deprecation when they're embarrassed, a wink and a 'ha-ha, of course I'm in on the joke with you' to hide the fact that they're not proud of what they're doing. If they reflexively cover up, they're just going to make themselves seem weak and worthless.

But ya looks like good soup. The first and hardest lesson to learn for budding smut writers, or people who just want a sex scene, is that sex IS cringe. It is embarrassing, and messy, and it'll make you say wacky shit.

But you cannot fuck ironically. So when you write sex, you MUST be earnest.

It will get finished; I don't like leaving work only a third of the way done. And hopefully my next piece will be released to you, complete and ready to enjoy.
