The concept of cafe sims with any gainer element sounds great cause it's such a good setting/genre with alot of variety in it's style.
I see what you mean with pacing as they are quite chill and tend to be cozy games, though that can work in your favor.

Even if his team liked to poke fun at him getting soft it only would serve to motivate him to lose it, it was his goal at the very least to look more presentable even if his partner, Thor, only said good things about his new softer body he still wanted to get back into shape.

It only started to go downhill and be more of an issue when that little bit of weight turned into a lot of weight, slowly plumping up to hitting 450 lbs and he was slightly annoyed by it. It made getting around his ship harder, how he would accidently knock things over from how wide he was,

his chair hugging him tightly and needing to get a bigger one the next time they had the chance and even more teasing from some of his team. At first he could handle it but now it just had him rolling his eyes cause he didn't exactly choose to gain all the weight,
