Fantastic post! Really appreciate the observation of algorithmic complacency. I love the tangential connection to political discourse, too. Although I do think nuance has always been an elusive concept for many people to grasp - that feels a little yelling at the clouds.

I didn't think the United States was a member party to the ICC in the first place, so what exactly is the formal relationship between the U.S. and the ICC?

Yes ~39 million additional liberal to center-left voters is exactly what this country needs. Plus their 13 territories and provinces could each become a state adding a decent number of left-of-center Senators.
