I feel like I'm missing out on something being excluded from "sisterhood", but I also feel like to want it is greedy of me and undermines everything women go through that I've had the privilege to avoid. Would love to unpack that. (2/2)

I remember a "short story contest" in primary school where I just couldn't wrap my head around having any kind of restraint for length, and got really upset when they told me I couldn't submit my 3000+ word story I wrote over the weekend haha

I always saw it less it aspiring to improve, and more to not improve but pretend as if you had. To give a false impression of yourself and your qualities rather than just being confident. What I dislike about it is it's a label given to you based on whether people think you deserve your confidence
