Yes, Beni Colalillo is upset because he wanted all the existing tenants gone using renoviction so he could turn the apartment building into a full Airbnb. Tenants in Unity members living there held rally and took it to the LTB.

The province needs to change many laws and fix the landlord tenant board in so many ways. Renters need better protections, as well not be stuck with paying the wealthy investments of speculators. We as renters will continue to echo our calls even if we have to do it loud. Housing is a Human Right.

Yes, because all renters matter. Each renter has a lived experience on so many issues with many feeling not feeling heard. The end of the day they all need law and order. The city of Hamilton needs to start giving out fines. Right now bylaw officers say the City of Hamilton do not like using fines
