Of course, they stand behind him. Standing behind villains and cheats is kind of their thing.

It's wild how fast, despite getting everything they've wanted in only eight months, the entire right wanted civil war and to maim anyone they considered a leftist, despite having zero evidence. The President also baited them to do something, again!

How long will the American people need to wait for "elaboration from the Supreme Court and lower courts" when they increasingly (eighth now?) make dubious rulings without explanation? How is it binding without any information or direction?

Incidents like nepotism and favoritism are unsurprising to most here, yet increasingly common throughout the country. Everyone knows that corruption exists, where to find it usually, and that it will continue, but solutions are lacking. Fairness and equality remain elusive. Forever, perhaps?

Some struggle to label today's Republican Party, as if they are afraid to offend someone. I think we're past the point where you call them "fascists", but then need to apologize. It's clear where the principles of the party lie. The silence from those who voted for this is their implicit approval.

We are witnessing the century-long culmination of a relentless assault on our core democratic values/institutions by those who prioritize power and corruption over the needs of the American people.

Sadly, doing things properly isn't how Trump's administration or the Republican Party operates.
