I would like to try this. I used to have all my private functions at the bottom of the file, then changed that if it is small and simple to place it below the function that uses it. The jumping around is tiring.

I have seen this selling solutions. On losing a deal a salesperson would tell me: "Don't worry, once they fail, they will come back running". But that won't happen. Tech decision maker seldom admit their mistakes. Whatever needs to change must change to make the choice they made work.

I had the same experience and sort of gave up, but am using Claude now and I must say I am impressed. It does think that you can do if else if in elixir though.
