When my back starts to spasm. Benzodiazepines stop the spasms. Thus, they treat the "anxiety" causing my pain. I wish doctors first response to traumatized women wasn't to blame *everything* on the trauma. I've lived with searing chest pain for over a DECADE untreated because of this assumption

I have CPTSD, am AuHD, and have 4 different kinds of back damage. If I lost my housing, I'd find survival to be incredibly difficult. It's 100% understandable that those circumstances break people. Hell, affluent sheltered people struggle with mental health and addiction the only difference

I think a lot of the discrimination against unhoused people is because the rest of us are one bad month from joining you. Easier to believe there's some reason people "deserve" bad things than to confront the reality of how little actually separates us. My neighbor comes over to help out, eat,
