I love Bandcamp though it concerns me how the platform's changed hands in recent years, but I remain cautiously optimistic as it's still my favorite! I use Tidal for streaming and Bandcamp for direct support when I have the wiggle room, fuck Sp*tify.

I completed Final Fantasy I for the first time in 13-14 years last night. Now it's either onto II or pivot to Metal Gear Solid for a game 🤌

I feel like AAA peaked at the 6th gen with PS2/XB/GC, carried on strong with 7th gen and started to fizzle out at 8. Indie games are really carrying my interest for videogames these days and preventing me from being a crotchety elitist. There's a few exceptions out there of course too

Half of us wanted better, or at least our shoulders turned towards it. I really, REALLY hope the other half realizes the error of their ways and soon, though my inner cynic thinks it will take extreme displays or events to get there.

I recently acquired X-Men Legends 1-2 and a holy grail copy of Xenosaga Episode 3 on PS2...and ALL THREE HAD MANUALS and it was such a dopamine hit 🤌
