I occasionally have dreams of multiple cats (like 6-24) walking into my house like they belong there. I’m happy to be invited but why must it always be into total chaos.

I swear to the gods they are priming us. There’s the whole glorification of (former) eastern block housing as cozy wholesomeness and then stuff like this. My feed typically skews toward my interests, textile art and gardening.

We have a morning routine where I open the door so he can check the under stairs utility space for dangers while I praise him for being my big protector baby man and then he sits on the dryer and encourages me while I scoop his litter. Reciprocity.

I’m eating lunch, 40 minutes into the audiobook “The Death of Jane Lawrence” by Caitlin Starling which is not a wise choice😂. I saw a recommendation for “The Silent Companions” by Laura Purcell and looked it up on my library app, they don’t have it but recommended something else. The irony🤣
