I hate to give you a hi-nu jumpscare the moment you wake up… but metal build’s putting out a variant that pushes it closer to the original and I wonder if this is an improvement to you or if it only reinforces the “false prophet” feelings you have about it

A dedicated hobby hand saw you can make steady back-and-forth motions with, alongside a reliable set of hobby sidecutters will be your friend for most everything you need done. A pin vise is also recommended for making holes- especially because you can then make pegs for reassembly with jewlery wire

yeah that’s a fair price for a top-priority character like char- I’ve paid more for less before with some figuarts, the aftermarket is absolutely insane
Now make sure you have a figure stand ready so you can put him on your walls (like this but not cool because he doesn’t deserve that luxury)

I think this is just the burden it has to bear as a flagship gundam- gunpla design trends have drifted towards slimmer, more mechanical proportions that are usually closer to their onscreen appearance- but izubuchi knew what he was designing his gundam for, the aesthetics of a time decades old now.

So true!!! I’m unbelievably happy that a design team with the technical skill for MP-style yuusha remakes (like the one in the last two pics) gets to work on an entirely original chunky, toyetic-ass line of cool robots (like deep bite here in the first two pics)

Yeah, seems it was a case of mixing up factions between his original BWN release and his release in beast machines under their “dinobots” subline- where they’re a maximal because all the organic robots were in the line.
