We certainly had some cool box art designs for #DeadHeadFred on the PSP, didn’t we? Each one brought a totally different style to our main character, Fred Neuman, who was voiced by none other than John C. McGinley.

In 2011, our team shipped a little game called Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon. Previously, EDF was developed by Sandlot in Japan, but we were tasked with giving it a new spin. Online multiplayer, armor types, improved destruction, game modes, all while keeping the essence of the originals!

Susan Luo (Bungie) did a ton of concept art for the game as a contractor before becoming a full-time employee, mainly all the character art. Also much of the marketing art including the different covers showcased their work as well. And if my memory recalls correctly, I believe the game map too.

The other show I came across recently and started watching is Dark Winds. It’s on a few subscription channels (like AMC) and has 3 seasons, and I’m watching it on Netflix. First season was quite good and I’m moving into the second.

Still have a piece of concept art from the game, signed by the cast of Battlecry. And yep, we hired quite a few of the original voice actors from the show to make it as authentic as possible.
