It’s is absolutely about something else. Rs want to continue the shutdown, as much as it hurts them politically, because opening will lead to a vote on the Epstein files and that will be SO MUCH WORSE for them. Tee-hee!!!

That could factor in for sure, for many. But as a guy who tears up and cries from ANY strong emotion, including anger, sometimes it’s just genetic. (My dad and all of my siblings tear up at EVERYTHING, including happiness.)

They are so focused on cutting “Democrat” programs that they don’t even seem to think about how much it’s going to hurt republican blocs n voters and (depending on how deep in the cult they are) make them realize how much they need those programs 🤦♂️
