When we Christians are more known for our support of presidents than we are for our support of the poor, the immigrant, the marginalized, and the oppressed, that is when we know we are following someone other than Jesus and we have a lot of repenting to do.

Snowy afternoon so I decided to make my favorite chocolate chip cookies ! I used a small scoop and it made about 48 cookies -more than enough to fill up my Disney cookie jar . Very satisfying

Snow in eastern North Carolina and especially New Bern is rare! Over 5” accumulation at my house and my baby Jasper was in-plussed by the white stuff . I’m sure it was cold on his belly .
