I mean lots of people get Medicaid. I am all for universal healthcare. The fact is that some people *do* get free healthcare-- citizens as well as people not here legally. (Some states fund Medicaid for everyone regardless of legal residence. I am fortunate to live in one of those states.)

Any American who is studying current events and who has critical thinking skills isn't counting on fair elections in 2026-- much less 2028. Sadly, too many people are seriously disengaged. I cannot express who depressing this is.
