You've got rain?..... Sooo lucky you! It's been dry here in North Yorkshire for many months now and down to watering cans only with our hosepipe ban in place!

Are they the usual size that tomatoes should be.. Just green?... If so just pick some and put a red one ( if you can get one) in between the green ones.. It helps to ropen the green ones!

Awww that's a real shame especially as you have bought so much... Are there any gardening groups around on line that you can find out what other folk do around where you live? There must be other options... Was looking at hydroponic systems but they are just so expensive to grow them that way

Hi can you buy bags of compost where you live or is it just by the trailer load?.. here in England we have so many types of bagged compost we can use, lots of choice so it's easy to find the right type for the plants we grow

Hi... Could you try to grow your own from seed next year, they germinate and grow really easily and maybe to could find a better compost to grow them in and then you're in total control?!

Ahhh not thought of doing that.. Thank you!

Yes, it was a big issue here a few years ago, probably still is. The chemical aminopyralid seems to be to blame which stays within the manure...affects potatoes, tomatoes, peas, beans, carrots, and salad crops causing the growth like you've shown. Makes you wonder what we are eating too☹️

There was something a few years ago in England whereby paddocks were treated with herbicide which when the horses grazed on the grass it passed through them no problem but the manure it created killed off vegetables used on local allotments... You just don't know what's going on!
