I live in Toronto and love good urban design that makes the world better for children to play in. I’m an artist.
I wish Roncesvalles was streetcar/bike only like this bus/bike road.

1. What about car alarm noise? And 2. What about endless diesel leaf blower noise? My double paned condo windows can block a ball bouncing sound but fossil fuel powered noises are constant!

I wonder how many blue dots (commmute 15 or less) are remote. Maybe 0 since this is 2021 data and

It’s ok to say it’s been 108 days past the 1.5 limit. Even if the next day is colder. We don’t need every day to be above the limit to say it’s passed us by. More awareness should be raised now, not when it’s a 20 year average.

The chart shows we passed it. It’s a fact. Media spin shouldn’t underestimate people’s intelligence. The truth is the truth.

Worth it to us moms with strollers though!

I’ve been looking at a lot of these graphs on this page and wondering if these are fixin’ to being a parabola? The climb seems steeper and steeper

I’ve done all of these but face down—I’d never damage binding. And I stopped with leaves because they flake apart if too much time passes lol. I only bent pages on the godfather. I also do margin notes!

More like lack of awareness that it could be better. All these parks have 4-5 stars on google maps. People love a patch of nothing because it’s so much better than asphalt!

Toronto people can’t imagine a carousel—I can’t really imagine it except coin operated at a mall.

Bennett Parkette (across from high park station on Quebec ave) has towers of people all around. The towers surely are high density.

Maria Street Parkette many people donate kids vehicles to try to make it better. Houses there are going for 2 mil. Maybe this is a priority thing not a density issue.

Toronto has density. Maybe it’s a failure of imagination for the carousel and fountains. How expensive is a bench? We have the other things in high park so I think restaurants are more a space issue.

I wish the burger place near the splash pad in high park served alcohol like in Europe!

As someone who can’t afford to visit Europe—I’d like to hear more details about how the parks in Toronto can be improved? Well—more trees for sure! I think Toronto needs more trees everywhere

How does the tram get through? I imagine most trams are as wide as a car, and the bollards are too closely spaced to allow a car so how does the tram pass?
