Had a cop tell me that the Capitol police are a ‘different breed’, and that they deserved what they got on Jan 6th. When I reminded him that there were also Metropolitan Police officers there that day, he said they deserved it too. Many cops I know have been totally brainwashed thanks to Fox News.

It’s about Elon not getting any interference from the CFPB when he starts his planned payment app. He obviously plans on ripping off the users. And Elon’s buddy Marc Andresson has already been smacked down by the agency, so this is also pay back for that.

JD is such a smarmy asshole. He’s an opportunist, he’s beholden to the tech bros, and I’m sure his hatred of the liberal elite derives from an inferiority complex he developed while at Yale, where he probably felt like the hillbilly he is compared to his more cultured classmates.

Personally, I think most of Elon’s ‘fans’ on X are just bots programmed to echo whatever inane thing he says. How can there be 5,000+ actual living people just waiting to respond to his nonsense so quickly after he posts it? It’s all fake to make us think we’re the ones with the minority opinion.

It also ultimately wants the government to stop issuing currency, as each bank will issue its own. The idea is based on some system that ‘worked’ in the Wild West for a few years in the 1800s. What could go wrong? And the US Treasury Dept would exist only to pay the government’s bills. Scary stuff.

The whole Project 2025 plan for the banking system is dystopian if you read it. It wants ALL regulators ultimately shut down & banks will ‘regulate each other’ thru the market, with the ‘bad actors’ driven out of business, and you have no deposit insurance to protect your savings if that’s your bank

This plan is just a gift to the cryptocurrency industry. When holding a bank account is just as speculative as holding crypto, people will start moving their savings into bitcoin, etc. It’s just another way for oligarchs to fleece all us average people.

I agree, but I don’t think the pardons will be the trigger for people to wake up, especially since they were a Trump campaign promise. Once he and Elon cut Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid etc., people will finally start caring, but even then a portion will be gaslit into blaming Democrats.

I’m not so sure about that. Fox News has brainwashed too many Americans into thinking that the rioters were the heroes that day. I know actual police officers who think that the Capitol Police deserved what they got. It’s sickening.
