Normally the fall colours here in Cape Breton can be muted but we had a drought this year with very little wind. So the leaves got colourful and they weren’t being pulled off the trees because of the weather.

This would be the upside to a downside.

I think a good sized portion of MAGA is waiting for the next decent excuse to leave Trump. They’re sobering up and want to save face so they’ll drop their “beliefs” one the right train arrives. Not all of them will do this but enough of them. People simply can’t be that evil that much of the time.

We need to see the #Epstein files. Not so much to see #Trump’s depth of depravity but to see if #MAGA actually has a bottom line. For them what would the last straw be? Pedophilia? Sex trafficking? More rape? What is the thing that will finally break this spell. I’m guessing that nothing can.

Nominate #donaldtrump for the Nobel Prize. Not one person on this Earth has done more to bring countries together than he. Look what it's done for Canada and hell, he just got South Korea, Japan and China to agree to band together. Didn't have that on the Bingo card.

I think we have this all wrong when it comes to what #Canada product will break #MAGA's back in this tariff war. It's not going to be softwood lumber for the houses and it won't be oil for the pickup trucks that they'll miss most. It will be the massive maple syrup shortage at #wafflehouse

The funny thing about #ElonMusk going from being liberal folk hero to the most evil #capitalist cartoon villain in history in only a few years: it shows us 1. how easily ethics can be bought and 2. maybe the guy we thought was so ethical was just actually wearing that cloak to get into your wallet.

If you luv him because he’s not like a politician “who lies all the time “ but you also use “don’t take everything he says at face value” as your defence for when he does something you didn’t think he’d do, you’ve proven two things:

One, he is not a politician.

Two, you’re an idiot.
