Acting as if the government is doing its own citizens a favor by helping to educate them to perform necessary labor the country needs is America’s second most toxic trait. The first is letting people go bankrupt over healthcare costs.

It’s literally not the oath they took. The first duty of anyone representing the American people in any capacity is to uphold the constitution. Any 5th grader should know this.

Because it’s so much easier to win by saying ‘Hey, you might not be crazy about any of my policies but my opponent is a literal Nazi,’ than it is to win by saying, ‘Yeah, I don’t support using tax payer dollars on services for taxpayers like my opponent wants.’
