We've recently had a rarity a Black-headed gull on the Southern Tip of Africa near Mossel Bay.
This is a Yellow Canary , not a Brimstone I posted the wrong photo. Unfortunately I can't edit it to correct my mistake. They are very similar however the Brimstone is a bigger bird.

This is the most photographed bird in Southern Africa, wide distribution and loves hawking insects from a perch.
