Post reading: one time while in a moral ocd spiral I came up with a scifi story premise in which hackers trying to break into a evil corp had to steel themselves to have no earthly attachment to characters or brands bc the cyber defense daemons would take the form of beloved copyrighted characters to get you to hesitate enough to get a counterattack in. later I realized the real way to speedrun this situation is send in an eroguro girlie who wants to chop up her faves violently she could do this EZ
