So I just got Renshuu. It seems like a neat way to advance my Japanese, if only so I can properly learn the phonetic alphabets since I won't be able to find time for myself to write and take notes on kana until next week. I'll try to motivate myself to do the daily lessons.

Did 25 sit ups in a minute for my gym class' fitness test. I could've probably made it to 30 if my body didn't give out. Still proud I managed to get about half of my partner's score, especially since I'm not athletic and don't work out at all.

2nd day using Bluesky and I'm a lot more social on this app than I am on Twitter. It's like I'm actually able to post my thoughts without the fear of hounds rushing over to tear me apart over differing opinions or a 'bad' take. I think I should go on an indefinite hiatus there or quit it altogether.

My A Days are so busy. Social Science Honors, Gym, AP English Literature & Composition... I do enjoy gym and sometimes AP English, but it's rough out here, especially when you have them 3 times a week.

i think most gaming influencers are doing themselves a disservice by not investigating what it takes to build and design a game using literally any game engine.
after closing just that singular knowledge gap, you become much more empathetic towards game developers and more aware of dev cycles.

Managed to get some notes down from a 2 hour long video all about learning kana. This process might be painstakingly slow, but I believe it'll be worth it to start off practicing how to write the hiragana and katakana characters from the get-go.

It feels nice to plan out your future with your friends. It feels like you matter to them, and they matter to you.

I just got jumpscared by an email sent to me by Temple to learn more about the opportunity to apply for their entry year program where I could possibly study abroad in Tokyo. The odds of getting this just after recently trying to learn Japanese must be crazy.

Pff, I don't even have the time and motivation to sit down and watch anime for a prolonged period of time. I just read the manga whenever I have the free time, which is mostly in school on whatever website I can find that has:
A. Posted the translations.
B. Not been blocked on my Chromebook.

I've been getting around to conceptualizing an original Jujutsu Kaisen story that takes the premise of Gege Akutami's initial draft where it begins with the Culling Game and just running with it. I'll also be putting a big focus on the dark fantasy elements, especially horror... Am I too ambitious?
