Heightmap of The Continent :-)
#WEUS #cartography
a map over the landmass colloquial called "the continent" featuring seas to the west, south and a smaller one to the east. The map is drawn as a hightmap to showcase the elevation of the landmass. The map also features the name of regions and cities. The regions are in no particuallar order: - the hinterlands, a cold forested area populated with wolf like people known as the Rinr. - The Heretical Borderlands, a region with both the desert of the Denuvi sea and the windswept Toryngian Headlands. The Orbial Covenant hold sway in this region. -The Riverlands, a region known for its giant flower forests and wizards. The culture here is very much situated around the mystic arts. - The Isle of Hoorn, a void tainted island with the demonic Sahalyari as its inhabitants. The Crimson Weld is situated in its center and maybe the rumoured Void well aswell. - The Oiitic Isles, a collection of islands under the rule of the Oiitic Empire and its eternally ruling God king. - The Murummian Highlands, a collection of smaller city states spread across a sparsly populated area. The people here are a hardy folk. - The Heartland, the most populated area of the world with its many kingdoms and many wars, truly the centerpiece of the continent. Its all situated around a body of water known as the Cove. - The Eastern Steppes, a flat grassy area said to go from the cove to the mythical Kengir. Horse lords living on walking cities and witches speaking old languages own these lands. - The Plague Lands, formarly the Tuheddian Empire, now a toxic dump due to weapons of mass destruction used by the Forge Lords of Automa. The coastlines are still usable and remnants of the old Empire still cling to life in the north. Whilst in the south a new power, the Palum, claim control. Other smaller areas are: O'Tenari, center of Zanzi culture on the continent - the best sailors on the planet. Stormborne Coast, rainy chaotic place full of dragon lords. Royal Acacia, home of the striped Yppa
