I think asking him a question, only inherently instantiates the idea that his "wisdom" or "thoughts" are valuable and sought out. What he really needs is to have the egregiousness of his behaviour asserted to him in statement form in a scenario he can't control.

Trump press sec. cites an ongoing class-action lawsuit where complainants have asserted, without evidence, that the presence of identifying information on questionnaires is responsible for them being overlooked unfairly. There's no evidence that the candidates hired in their place were unqualified.
