Data science nerd. Hiking, kayaking and nature. Life's a garden, get out and dig it. Awesome Canadian partner and a couple older daughters. Also NO DMs.. Seriously, I hate them. Don’t.
Oh yea... those "Doves" or I call them "rural pigeons" I've mixed up the feed to mainly safflower since they like the smaller stuff. I have a different feeder for that too, but they stay on the ground mainly now. The squirrels I can't fault since it's cold. I have a bar for them too.

I got some Kung Foo fighting in yesterday at the feeder! Woodpecker takes off and a Finch wasn't letting anyone else have a go, except the Titmouse, sneaky... :)

I had WWB at the feeder earlier... Feisty Finch or Shitty Sparrow, but fought off a few birds. The Titmouse was great. Sneaks by and grabs food, then whisks off.

I mean, male Cardinal, then a red bellied woodpecker, with autumn leaves in the background…. And due to technical difficulties earlier, I had just reset it.

Female Cardinal at sunset, made her appear golden in the camera.

Male Cardinal came out to watch the sunset.

I've been seeing them more too! Always love it when they show up. The Cardinal is also one of my favs. He loves watching sunsets. This was last month. Good shot of him.

So yea, I got bored on my lunch hour and automated my "Critter Cams" for a daily video of all clips together. A Docker FFMPEG instance stitches them all by cam, by day and deliver them to me via alert. I'm kind of also a fan of Home Assistant and automation, this adds a calming feature.

Yea, the "Nut Bar" is seeing more action as far as over active patrons go. Need to add sugar to the bird seed I guess... :)

The Cardinal that hangs out by ours also fights off the Dove's. But this one Dove seems to be the ring leader and will sit there until some other bird fights him off. Other Dove's collect above the feeder, on the fence, the ground littered with them and even the power lines... It's like Hitchcock
