One of my favorite dumb jokes that didn't get mentioned at all is the "G" tattoo.

On Suzuki bikes, the "G" after the displacement designates the bike as a driveshaft model, as opposed to a chain drive.

The real Junkdog is indeed a GS850GZ

One small thing that didn't get a good chance to be shown is the perma-grease. With the inspiration firmly planted in mad max, it was decided Junkdog be a general handy mechanic type, and all the sordid grime that goes with that. This'll probably get a better feature in the future.

The pose went through about nine drafts before getting finalized. Pictured is the next to last version before the "turnaround". You'd think posing would be the EASY part, but it was important for both of us to find a good pose that could be used for future reference on style and look.

If you're wondering about the license plate, it does bear the model name in the text ("GS850") as well as being an older version of my current state of residence's plate (older Georgia plate). She was originally gonna wear it, but this pose didn't make that easy to incorporate.

It's funny looking at the early draft of the outfit compared to the final. They're super similar besides some decluttering and color changes. The original inspiration for the outfit comes from an actual 80s Suzuki jacket I'd purchased shortly before reaching out for the comm.

Junkdog didn't actually have piercings planned until about the last "mile" or so, and even then it was a rough concept right up until the end. Only the nipple bar was planned and the rest came together. The four brow piercings are 100% supposed to represent the four cylinders of the engine.

The original draft of the bikini was originally meant to be a two-half ordeal that could feasibly worn under the split coat. It got dropped in favor of a more stylistically consistent center-tied top. While I'm biased, it may make an appearance in the future on someone else...

One element that didn't get used for style and time constraints was helmet decorations. I originally had this idea that the helmet was meant to convey a more post apocalyptic samurai style, with piston conrods cut into these gnarly horns and the mask in an oni motif. It was cut for being too busy,

This ended up being the final board of EVERYTHING. There were a few key points I wanted to hit but I wanted to highlight my shitty pose drawing in the mid-right-ish position. I'm by no stretch an artist myself but I have drawn quite a lot of these Sh*t Sketches to convey posing. 9/

Of the three, one in particular caught my gaze, an sorta dusty bike with a yellow fender and tail, and a gray gas tank sat on it.

Junkdog, the bike, came home with me that day. I probably still owe my friend a six pack.

She's still not in running condition, but something is better than nothing.
