The absolute sin- I had this art done and I forgot to post it, no thanks to school and stress. But here’s Leif’s mom(?), Prof. Hawthon Alderson! They studied mythology and folklore, and later started studying the origins of the fairy type and how it coincided with local legends.

Prof. Hawthorn Alderson is dressed in a light yellow lab coat, with a Lurantis inspired outfit (pink and white striped pants, cream shirt), with his long orange hair tied into a pony tail. They’re covered in tattoos and jewelry, including their wedding ring hung around their neck with twine. Several ultraballs hover around them. Her team consists of Prismatina, Aurous, Florges, Golurk, Gardevoir, and Lurantis. Hawthorn’s genderfluid, though they themselves that label doesn’t feel like enough to fully explain their gender identity, switching pronouns and labels at the drop of a hat. They’ll sometimes kick it up a notch when messing with people. Xey met Nomun while he was going on his Pokemon journey, tagging along and, inspired by his own hometowns stories of fae creatures turning into people and Pokemon and tricking folk, quickly became fascinated with the mythologies and stories of the towns and cities they would visit, leading to her choice to research mythology in college. After having kids and settling down, Hawthorn ended up becoming the “Pokemon Professor” in the area after it became known to people they were studying the origins of the fairy type. Hawthorn continues to participate in the cultural practices from his home, the family home and lab surrounded with little fairy houses, charms, and spells, and it was also through her that the town Leif grew up in became increasingly covered in local plant life.

School’s kept me busy- and also has the worst wifi lol. It changes from building to building, but my IPad in general doesn’t seem to react well with the wifi, so getting art posted has been difficult. But, I had this done a bit ago with one of my dnd characters, Darwin. #dnd #oc #myart
Darwin Athol: Paladin of Vengance. Dressed in all black aside from the red vest and red shades, reading a series of short stories to a young girl with her grandmother watching from the nearby window. He’s a 730 year-old vampire, with jobs both as an archeologist and a farmer, with a large plot of land-which includes a part of a forest- he uses for crops and livestock. He’s the protector of a witch coven- he gives them his land to practice on (mainly the forest area) and in turn, he keeps them safe from any forces who might attack the coven. He’s been associated with the coven for generations because of this. He was content to live out the rest of his unlife like this, ignoring his own past and problems in the process… before his own past came to bite him, attacking his home and the people he protected while looking for him. The people who turned him had finally found him and attacked the people Darwin considered his family. He’s since left, tracking down where the perpetrators went with an aim to kill then once and for all before they hurt anyone else, something he now admits he should’ve started on years ago.

To continue the saga of the Pokemon teams, here’s Nomun’s! Nomun is Leif’s father and the one who taught him everything he knows about battling. He was an Elite 4 member who retired as Leif became a teenager to become a lab partner to his S.O. #myart #oc #pokemon
Nomun originally hailed from the Unova region, and wanted to go into the medical field before he formed a passion for battling during his own journey. His skills allowed him to become an elite 4 member with a focus on the flying type, a title he had for a little over 20 years before his retirement. He still helps with the league occasionally for events, notebly helping with high profile battle schools such as Blueberry Academy. He expects Leif to do the gym circuit. After all, he expects Leif to put the skills he taught to use. His team is Staraptor, Kingdra, Zebstrika, Abomasnow, Krookodile, and Charizard. Nomun has tan skin, purple eyes, and very long blue hair tied in a braid. He is dressed in a white dress shirt, black slacks, a pale purple vest, yellow tie, white scarf, and a dark blue coat.

I forgot to get this posted in the craziness of moving into my dorm room, but here’s the second rival, Marshal. He’s a little younger than Leif and Lucky (they’re 15 and 16, respectively, Marshal is 14) but that didn’t stop him accompany them on their journey. #myart #oc #pokemon
Marshal Akpabio-Jung, unlike Leif and Lucky who are expected to complete the gym circuit, Marshal decided that he and his Pokemon just didn’t feel like doing it after the third badge. Marshal may not be the greatest at battling, but he stays with the two as an impromptu social media manager and as a third set of hands when the group inevitably gets into trouble. His Pokemon all end up evolving to try and keep him safe, especially as more and more things keep happening around the group and the more times Leif and Lucky are gone either training or doing gyms. Marshal has pale skin, light blue eyes, and black hair with pink tips, with stickers on his face. He’s dressed in a lopunny inspired coat, a Obstagoon crop top, Galarian ponyta colored pants, a driftloon belt, and blue gloves. His choker is inspired by toxtricity, with fairy type earrings and a luvdisc charm. He holds a love ball in one hand.

The son of two wealthy business moguls, and knew Leif through the close friendship his parents had with Leif’s. His parents poured a lot of money into his education and in battling classes, and when he and Leif became old enough to challenge the gym circuit, they both agreed to push each other to be better and better. Lucky has blueish/black hair with pale skin and green eyes. His original character and family take inspiration from Old Norse culture and mythos. He’s is in a Beartic shirt, a Cryogonal inspired jacket, brown pants, fingerless gloves, and various jewelry including a dog tag. His team is a Shiny Lucario, Milotic, Armarouge, Serperior, Glimmora, and Druddigon.

The Pokémon Version of Leif has pale skin and normal human features, dressed in a shiinotic inspired outfit, with a Hypno’s pendulum and a Sableye’s gem hanging from his neck. A Pokéball hovers over his hand. His battling team is Mismagius, Grimmsnarl, Ceruledge, Carracosta, Decidueye, and Zoroark. He carries two extra Pokémon with him, a Hisuian Zoroark nicknamed “Zee” who serves as an emotional support friend for his battle Zoroark and doesn’t like to battle (even if he wanted he couldn’t separate the two), and an Absol that serves sorta like a service animal that keeps disaster prone Leif out of danger. Pokémon Leif is the son of a Pokémon Professor and a retired Elite 4 Member, so he was expected to take up the gym circuit.

I’ve been doing some art over the past week or so, and I thought to just post them all on a single post. The summaries will be in the descriptive Alt Text, and I hope y’all enjoy
Lycan Twins Thomas and Thalia Castiel, born into a noble family in the steampunk inspired city of Skipperhollow. They’re both in various stages of no contact with their parents, with the two often seeing each other as their best ally. Found some memes on Pinterest and decided to put them on shirts Leif is wearing. Don’t worry about the drawing on the bottom right, he’s okay :) River repairing a humanoid android model simply named Alpha, one of the first prototypes of an advanced AI and robotics system designed to basically be an at-home servant for rich people to buy, designed by a company called GeneraCorp. River lives somewhat close to a secret, but now abandoned GeneraCorp factory, and considering no one knows about it, he’s been taking advantage of that and using it as a place to get free metal sheets and beams, as well as various types of small machinery and tools, all stuff he can use in his auto repair business and his tinkering hobby. This is where he found her, and seeing she was still operational, he took her to his workshop and repaired her over the course of a couple weeks. (And for clarification this is not DnD River, this is the version of the character I already had before he became a DnD character) Phiemus, God of the Sun, Soldiers, Royalty, and of Order, within his Realm in the Home of the Gods, and a member of my fantasy world’s pantheon. I started on this drawing in October of last year and didn’t pick it back up until a couple days ago, so unfortunately the context of who the child is in the picture has been lost. If I had to make a guess, it could be a kid of his (probably a demigod since the kid isn’t physically there), someone he blessed with his power, or something else. Whatever the case, it felt incredibly nice to finish a drawing after it spent 8 months in limbo.

After what feels like a whole month of silently suffering and trying to get through finals, I finally had the energy and time to pick up my apple pen and draw something. This is Storm, Caspian, and Finn, the baby 3-headed hydra and the potential pet of my dnd character Ebvir.

Sometimes, Leif’s mother will turn into a tree, for spying and espionage, or to just watch a situation without being noticed. When Leif goes to his coven meetings, however, his mother uses it for… different reasons:
Leif, whispering: Mom, you’re not supposed to be here. Leif’s mother: You forgot your dinner, Leif. Leif is in the middle of his coven meeting being given his dinner by his mother in secret, though Leif could also be feeling that same bit of embarrassment when your parents smother you with love and attention with your friends a mere couple feet away watching it all go down.
