Heatsink fell off my LSI Raid controller card. After a quick trip to the hardware store, it has been "macguyvered" back in place. As a bonus the only paste I had lying around was thermal grizzly lol

Grabbed a used t470 off eBay. Supervisor password was set! Luckily some folks much smarter than myself have some decent walkthroughs posted for wiping that pass off the TPM chip by way of EEPROM without any soldering!

Luckily I had a raspi 4B+ on hand

This is why I build with soft tubing. It's not as sexy, but when a bios update stops your 2 year old system from POSTing, you don't need to drain the loop and disassemble everything to get the board out.

Was doing some sifting through my cabinets and came across a 4drive bay that I forgot I had and realized would fit my 4U unraid chassis. Unexpected upgrades are always exciting!

Now to save for some more disks.

R.I.P Unraid PSU. You ran well for nearly 5 straight years.
