I’m guilty of exactly this myself but our lacking attention spans put such temporary value on things that so many people put years of their lives into. I wish everything could slow down a little. Or a lot.

Sometimes, you learn the people you’re spending the most time with are the ones who’d happily let the whole world rot if they could thrive in ignorance. And some of them don’t even care for the ignorance.
