Postgres wal size default (16MB) feels too small for good chunk of applications.
It also made my r2 bill higher than it needs to be.
It is not trivial to change the default unless you shutdown postgres (which is something my postgres operator from crunchy data doesn't easily support)...

One interesting thought I read somewhere, which made sense to me, was legacy admission brings together smart but not wealthy kids and likely smart and wealthy kids together, at their formative years.
FYI, for those of you like me who did not know about this 72 hours ago: Senator Merkley and Rep Bowman are set to reintroduce their Fair College Admissions for Students Act, which would effectively stop legacy admissions.
